On the second floor in the front house you find this cozy and warm feeling room. It has a pluche Queen bed, comfy seating, a nice desk and a electric heater.
The orange accent colors refer to the National colors of our home country The Netherlands and give the room a warm and positive vibe.
The view out of the front window is magnificent and when you are a early riser you might see a deer or three.
The completely new bathroom has a walk in tiled shower and a antique vanity.
This room sleeps two and includes breakfast for two
A bed and breakfast (B&B) is not covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) if it has five or fewer rooms and the owner lives on the property.

Wonderful and peaceful stay
Thank you for hosting us on our Southern Virginia bicycle trip. We had a wonderful and peaceful stay. We will definitely come back to your establishment if we are in the neck of the woods again. Ps. Your freshly baked bread and your Netherland cheese are delicious.
What a wonderful experience!
I am exploring Southern VA and love everything about this area. Thanks for your hospitality and the delicious breakfast.
Very Special Experience
My husband and I stayed one night en route to visit our daughter. We were moved by the authenticity of the home renovations, modern features like a rain shower and wash basin sink, while still transporting us back to the 1800’s!! Amazing Danish breakfast with fresh bread and soufflé, Evelyn and Martin were SO gracious and welcoming, 20 stars!
This room is dedicated to Miss Isabella Venable Carrington the sister that taught Music and Embroidery at the Sunny Side School for Young Ladies.
Miss Belle was born January 28, 1837 as the sixth daughter of Tucker Carrington and Mary Watkins Carrington. It seems that Miss Belle was the quiet one of the four sisters that ran the school. She was in charge of the housekeeping and feeding the hungry mouths, and so she was a favorite for the young ladies who lived at Sunnyside.
Miss Belle died on November 17, 1915 at the age of 78 years.
